About

Trying to eat everything on my plate even at a young age!

Growing up, I found it very hard to stick to the options on the “kid’s menu” at restaurants – if I wasn’t eating an adult-sized meal, I was cleaning my kids’ plate and then moving onto sampling my parents’ meals. That was just the beginning of my love and passion for food.

As the years have gone by, I’ve coupled that love for food with my educational background in marketing/business. One of my favorite things to do is to tell people about food experiences that were memorable to me – both good and bad, but mostly good.

Creating this blog felt like the right next step since all of my friends, family and colleagues use me as their own personal restaurant selector for special nights out, recommendations for particular cravings or the inside scoop on “new” locations in Boston and other places I’ve visited. There’s nothing worse than having a favorite spot to eat or go-to menu item and one day seeing that it is no longer there. So full disclosure – one of my goals to promote my positive food experiences is slightly selfish.

You can expect to see images of the food and hopefully I get some other forms of media in here too – don’t mind if any of the pictures have me with food on my face. It will showcase how much the food has distracted me and I am engulfed in consuming whatever is in front of me.

To read more about my final inspiration (aka kick in the butt) to get this blog started, check out my first post What some would call my “A-Ha” moment.

Feel free to provide feedback in the form of comments and also, for those who are interested, there is the opportunity to subscribe to receive email notifications when a new post is published.

Happy reading! Don’t be ashamed if some of the images make you drool, they get me every time!
